Director: Rockingham County Public Schools (Rockingham County,
Virginia) Broadway High School (A Virginia Honor Band Program) Start
Date: July 1, 2008. Instructs and plans the instrumental music
program during the ten-month contract period, including, but not
limited to the following programs: marching band, concert band, wind
ensemble, musical orchestra, and jazz ensemble. Additional summer

HS Choral Music Teacher: Woodlawn Secondary in
Arlington, VA. Full-time.
HB Woodlawn has a spirited, challenging and award-winning
choral music program with five choir ensembles who perform
at many prestigious venues in the Washington DC area and
nationally. Seeking applicants with experience teaching HS
choral music and music theory, a dynamic and positive
approach to the choral rehearsal as an excellent rehearsal
technician, knowledge of the changing adolescent voice and
the ability to work with middle school and high school age
singers together in rehearsals (2 MS ensembles with
part-time director in same school), exceptional
organizational and administrative skills for overseeing a
strong choral program with seven ensembles (directly
responsible for the 5 HS choral groups), an understanding of
and support of the philosophy and operation of the HB
