The VMEA
Executive Board is pleased to announce that Dustin
Wright will become the Editor of NOTES beginning on July
1, 2008.
Dustin Wright is a
native of Satellite Beach, Florida and earned his
Bachelor of Music Education degree from George Mason
University and his Master of Euphonium Performance
degree from Arizona State University. Mr. Wright is
currently one of the Band Directors at Rachel Carson
Middle School in Herndon, Virginia. In addition, he is
also the Minister of Music at the Virginia Hills Baptist
Church in Alexandria, Virginia. Prior to teaching in
Virginia, Mr. Wright was the Executive Vice-President of
the Focus on Music publishing company and a member of
the Music Faculty at Glendale Community College in
