Friend of VMEA Membership Opportunity

VMEA is excited to offer a new membership opportunity to those who have a vested interest in music education. Friends of VMEA may be individuals, booster groups, parent-teacher associations/ organizations, music industry groups, teaching artists, community music groups, private lesson instructors, and students!
Friends of Virginia Music Educators Association (VMEA) is a $10.00 membership (non-voting) opportunity for those that wish to support music education. With your membership, you will:
Support the efforts of VMEA which include promoting the advancement of high-quality music education for all.
Provide financial and student support at district, regional, and state music events .
Support local, state, and national advocacy of music education.
Receive a quarterly VMEA newsletter and access to monthly advocacy emails.
Receive FREE training on topics such as advocacy, how to start a booster organization, and/or how to maintain your boosters 501c3 status, and MORE!
Receive advocacy alerts so you can play a role in supporting music education.
Have your name (or group name) listed on the VMEA website (www.VMEA.com) and in the VMEA Professional Development Conference Guidebook and All-State Concert programs.
VMEA wants to ensure that students have an opportunity to learn and participate in the joy and power that music education brings in uplifting the human spirit and addressing the social-emotional learning requirements of today’s students. Music education provides students with learning in critical thinking, creative thinking, communication, collaboration, and citizenship skills.

**VMEA Associate Members is not available through the National Association for Music Education (NAfME)

The Registration Form will allow you to pay by Credit Card and PayPal. If you are paying by check, please print out your confirmation and membership verification (available after submission) and mail with a check for $10.00 made out to Virginia Music Educators Association to:
