VMEA Honors Choir 

The 2023 Senior Honor Choir will be November 16-18, 2023 at the 2023 VMEA Conference in Richmond. All 12th grade students enrolled in a VMEA member’s school choral ensemble are eligible to audition. Opus Events will be used to host online auditions. Students will perform a prepared song, "I Attempt from Love's Sickness" and complete one sight-reading example. Sheet music and accompaniment tracks are available for download below. Soprano and Tenors will sight-read in the keys of Eb, F, or G major. Altos and Basses will sight-read in the keys of A, Bb, or D major. The vocal range for the sight-reading is from "Ti" (below) to "La" (above) the starting tonic pitch. Please contact the VMEA Senior Honors Choir Chairs with any questions.
